Stayed in Caso Juno 2 wks June 09. All
listings acurate. Better than pictures.
House in very large plot behind your own
metal gates. Shady terraces, good size
pool, fruit trees (cherries/figs ripe!)
then olive grove. Loved the outdoor
steps built into the wall to access the
flat roof - in the morning survey your
lands! Lots of sitting areas in and out
of shade. Pizza oven was great fun - buy
pre-rolled dough from Lidl etc. Eat
alfresco every night. Car essential.
Nature reserve nearby with nice
undeveloped beach. Met by english people
who guide you to villa and are available
on phone if needed- reassuring. If all
villa holidays are like this we'll be
doing it again. thanks Eilin & David

Just back from a great stay in Casa Juno
which is a characterful, clean,
modernised Puglian house with a lovely
swimming pool and gardens to roam around
in. Its actually better than it's
pictures!. Eilin and David provided all
the support we needed before we set off
and the ground staff were excellent. We
ate plums, cherries and figs from the
trees (all free!) and bbqed meat from
the deli in San Vito on the outdoor bbq.
There is plenty to see and do in the
area, if you can drag yourself from the
pool. Bring mosquitoe spray as they seem
unavoidable in Italy! Try Volcano for
anti-pasti, Ostuni for white washed
walks through the lovely back streets,
stroll through San Vito as there is more
to the village than meets the eye - a
castle, a market, good shops. A great
place to stay, would thoroughly
recommend.

Just returned from a week at Casa Juno
and it was fantastic. We have toured
other parts of Italy before, but not
Puglia, and this time we just wanted to
lay in the sun... and that is what we
did. The villa is what you would expect
from the photos, nice and no surprises.
But it is the surrounding garden,
patios, pool, basketball court, fire pit
and olive grove that makes this
property... absolutely stunning. We
loved it. As we love the outdoors, this
property exceeded our expectations. It
had everything to keep you from getting
bored, and force you to relax. Lovely
pool, fresh fruit off the trees,
basketball to get the excess energy out,
and great loungers and umbrella. And, if
you did want to venture out, it was
close to the beach, shops and tourist
towns. Would definitely return!

We stayed a week at Casa Juno and
thoroughly enjoyed it, very clean and
the welcome basket was a lovely detail.
You do need a car or you will miss the
beautiful countryside and small
villages. How funny to see it on a Place
in the Sun afterwards, thanks Eilin for
letting us know

We spent a week in Casa Juno in May 2008
and had a lovely and relaxing time away
from it all. Its near enough to the
beaches, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Lecce
but far enough from the madding crowd.
The pool is great and the villa cool. We
will be back.
