PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY BOTTLED WATER SHOULD BE DRUNK AT CASA JUNO.
Tap water can be used for cooking, cleaning and so forth but not
drunk from the tap. The water is fed from an artesian well and so
while Italians drink it straight from the tap, non-Puglian tummies
will not be used to water that is not purified and does not contain
fluoride.

How to get there and how to
get around
Villa
Juno is located between the towns of San Vito dei Normanni and
Carovigno. The green arrow on the map shows the villa’s
location.
Victoria and Belinda are our local, English speaking agents, whom
we'll put you in touch with before
your arrival. They will arrange to meet you at a central point in San
Vito dei Normanni with the keys and to escort you to the villa and
show you how everything works. They will also be your local
contacts during your stay. They provide some additional services and
one that is very popular with guests is the hot meal they provide
ready for their arrival. More details can be found on their own
website,
trullilandpuglia.co.uk
If you
have a Sat Nav please mention this when you book and we will provide
coordinates for the villa that will guide you to the front gate.
The
closest airports are Brindisi (28km away, 20 minute drive) and Bari
(108km away, 1.5 hour drive). Naples is a four hour drive away.

Supermarkets/Shopping
There are several supermarkets
within 1 to 2km as well as many other shops including a
new Lidl Store which has just opened on the Mesagne Road.
During high season they do open on Sunday mornings during high
season. There is a GS
Supermarket and a Eurospin around 1 mile away and it is at the GS
Supermarket in San Vito that our meet and greet team usually arrange
to meet you. These are big supermarkets and should cater for
your every need.
There are many restaurants in the
area. San Vito itself contains several banks and numerous ATM
machines. All the local towns and cities have a market day. In San
Vito it is on Mondays. The markets usually start very early and
finish at around lunchtime to avoid the hottest part of the day. The
town, like all Puglian towns, closes down at 1pm for siesta and
opens up again by around 5pm.
Ostuni has a huge market on
Saturday mornings where you can buy almost anything but especially
great for fresh fruit and veg and incredible local cheeses, olives
and cured hams.
